Will there be ads or paywalls?

No ads, ever. Your first four uploads are free so you can confirm it works with your exact Frame before you pay. From there you choose: a one-time lifetime unlock that is yours to keep, or Frame Photos Monthly, which bundles the full app and Frame Cloud sync while active. There is also an optional one-time Frame Cloud add-on for Apple-only households (it runs on your iCloud). A subscription is never required to keep using a lifetime unlock you bought.

Is it really one-time?

The lifetime core unlock is a one-time purchase. One Apple purchase covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac; Android purchases will use Google Play once the listing is live. Cross-store access is planned through the same signed-in Frame Cloud identity, but we will only promise it after that flow has been verified in both stores. Frame Photos Monthly is offered alongside lifetime, and the one-time Frame Cloud add-on is Apple-only.

What do I get for free?

For free you can find your Frame on WiFi, connect to it, browse photos already on the TV, run a compatibility check, use the full matte editor, and send your first four uploads, all before deciding to unlock the rest.

What does the one-time unlock include?

The one-time unlock opens the whole local app: unlimited uploads, albums, collages, portrait-mounted Frame workflows, fast slideshow, Party Mode, and remote controls. One Apple purchase covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac; the Android app is coming to Google Play.

Should I buy the lifetime unlock or Frame Photos Monthly?

If you just want your photos on your Frame, the one-time lifetime unlock is all you need. Buy it once and it is yours, with no recurring charge. The choice for Frame Cloud album sync depends on your devices: if everyone in your household uses Apple devices, the lifetime unlock plus the one-time Cloud add-on is the cheapest path, because sync runs on your own iCloud. If you use Android, or a mix of iPhone and Android, choose Frame Photos Monthly: cross-platform sync runs on servers with real monthly costs, so it is part of the subscription. Cancel anytime.
