How to run a photo slideshow (and Party Mode) on The Frame
To run a slideshow of your own photos on Samsung The Frame, upload them into an album, open the slideshow controls, and pick how often the photo changes — anywhere from 15 seconds to 3 minutes. With Party Mode you can push the same slideshow to every Frame in your home at once. There's no USB stick and no Samsung account required.
The Frame is gorgeous showing one painting — but you bought it to show your photos, and you want them to move. Getting a real slideshow going (let alone across more than one Frame) is harder than it should be. Here is how, with Frame Photos.
Set up a photo slideshow on The Frame
Five steps to get your own photos cycling on the wall — from upload to the moment The Frame starts moving.
- 1
Upload the photos you want in rotation
Start by getting the photos you want to show onto your Frame and into an album with Frame Photos. It all happens over your home WiFi — no USB stick and no Samsung account. If you have not done this yet, the master upload guide walks through finding your TV, matting a photo, and sending it.
- 2
Open the slideshow controls
Once an album lives on your Frame, open the slideshow controls in the app. This is where you decide what cycles on the wall and how it moves — one album, a mix of photos, or your whole collection on rotation.
- 3
Pick the interval — 15 seconds to 3 minutes
Choose how often the photo changes. You can set it anywhere from 15 seconds to 3 minutes. Quick changes keep a party feeling lively; longer holds let a single memory sit on the wall like a painting.
- 4
Shuffle, or play an album in order
Decide on the sequence. Shuffle keeps every photo a small surprise, or play an album in the order you arranged it — a trip from start to finish, a year in sequence, a story told in turn.
- 5
Start — The Frame cycles your photos
Start the slideshow and your Frame begins cycling your photos at the interval you chose. Your memories move on the wall, full-screen in Art Mode, exactly the way you arranged them.
Party Mode — drive every Frame in the house at once
If you have more than one Frame, Party Mode pushes the same slideshow to every Frame in your home at once. One tap and the living room, the kitchen, and the hallway all cycle the same photos together — made for gatherings and multi-room moments.

Build the album first
A good slideshow starts with a real album — a set of photos grouped on purpose, not added one at a time. For the cleanest look on the wall, check the Samsung Frame TV photo size guide before you build it.
